URBAN OUTFITTERS is one of the best known shops in the streetwear world as they stock a wide range of clothing and like to inspire customers through a unique combination of product, creativity and cultural understanding. Founded in 1970 in Pennsylvania by Dick Hayne who was only 23 years old when he, his college roommate Scott Belair and Judy Wicks came up with the idea of opening a shop. Their mission was to offer second-hand clothing, furniture, jewellery and home decor to college-age customers in a casual and fun atmosphere, and then that became now Urban Outfitters with over 200 shops in Europe, the United States and Canada, these shops offer experimental sales and a well selected mix of on-trend womenswear and menswear, as well as a collection of selected vintage clothing. Urban Outfitters also has sections to decorate your small space, flat or dorm room.

The Urban Outfitters in Glasgow is made up of 3 floors, and on each floor there are original accessories and decorations for the room/house, it is a very complete shop where you can find a lot of streetwear and original clothes, as they have their own designs, apart from well-known brands like Champion, Patagonia, The North Face, Dickies...And as I said previously it has on the top floor a very good quality vintage clothing collection for both boys and girls.
It is also worth mentioning that this shop has a 10% discount for students, this is a great way to attract the attention of young student people as it is never a bad thing to spend a little less money for some clothes.
